5 Tropical Vacation Spots With The Best Beaches
If you’re a beach lover, tropics are the place for you. In my first post on this blog I’d like to share with you a few incredible tropical vacation spots that are great for beach vacation.
1. The Cook Islands
The Cook Islands are one of the most affordable, yet still developed South Pacific Ocean countries. If you’re looking for endless stretches of white sand beach, crystal clear warm turquoise lagoons, bungalows, hammocks and palm trees, Cook Islands will make you very happy. Cook Islands are very family-friendly – there’s very little crime there and there’s a very small risk of tropical diseases.
2. Mexico
One of the most obvious advantages of Mexico is that it’s definitely easier to get there from the United States than to many other tropical countries. If you’re looking for a tropical place for short vacation, Mexico is a good choice. You can either go to Mexican Caribbean coast which is more developed, but offers white sand beaches and beautiful turquoise water, or you can choose Mexican Pacific Coast which is more tranquil, but doesn’t offer the colors of Caribbean.
3. Fiji
Along with The Cook Islands, Fiji is one of the most affordable places in the South Pacific Ocean. It’s still not very popular with tourists which makes it a perfect place for people who are looking for a paradise without overcrowded beaches. In addition to beaches, the country has one of the best diving spots in the world, great hiking trails and perfect conditions for surfers and sailors.
4. French Polynesia
French Polynesia is one of the most expensive South Pacific Ocean countries. However, it offers one of the most beautiful beaches and outstanding natural scenery (crystal clear lagoons, green mountains, lush jungles). It’s definitely one of the best tropical places for luxury vacation and honeymoon.
5. Costa Rica
Last but not least, if you’re looking for something more “rugged”, Costa Rica may be a good choice. The country isn’t famous for white sand beaches and turquoise water, but it’s famous for its biodiversity, well-preserved wilderness and being the “greenest” (environmentally-friendly) country in the world. If you want to experience “wild” untouched beaches surrounded by beautiful lush jungles, Costa Rica is the place for you.
There are many more beautiful tropical spots which have great beaches and are perfect for vacation. Research as much as you can and don’t make the final decision until you are sure that you’ve found the perfect place for you.
